Back to the West

St Georges , Utah, April 16 ,2016

After a week in SanFrancisco doing some more research on Rosie the riveter stories and the fantastic adventure that was the Kaiser shipyards in Richmond, I drove with my friend Chris to Las Vegas where we met our two other bike buddies Mike and Henri. We drove today to St George, 2 hours north east of Las Vegas, stopping in the magnificent Red Rock park, and our bike ride starts tomorrow Sunday morning. We are staying in a historic B&B called the seven wives, a big house built in the mid 19 th century and its owner used to hide polygamist in his attic, after polygamy was outlawed in 1882 in Utah.
