Minneapolis, Aug 19 th 2013
America was first explored by trappers traveling on its rivers, at a time where there were no paths nor road but only Indian trails through the thick forests and the bumpy prairies,
The Mississippi River made the fortune of Minneapolis as wheat, lumber, corn produced by the rich soils of the Midwest could be sold in the whole country and around the world through New Orleans
But nowadays Minneapolis definitely chose the bike trails as main mean of communication: no more highways! No more trains! No more airplanes! The world belongs to bikers , and Minneapolis and St Paul are their dreamland! Bike trails are everywhere and the few remaining cars are extremely respectful of bikers!
