Wheels again…with BIG engines!

Loheac, Brittany, June 17,2013

On our way by bike from Paris to Pont Aven. Richard and I stayed yesterday in Fresnay sur Sarthe, a small town a few Kms north of Le Mans. 10 hours on the saddle to ride 200 Kms or 130 miles, and the cars that drive in the famous “24 hours of Le Mans” cover that distance in less than an hour! Slow wheels and fast wheels. Just not the same engine… Today we rode 184 ks and are staying in another place dedicated to sports car, Loheac. A private collection of 300 vintage cars is on display in the museum. The history of this wonderful invention, that we take for granted, is breathtaking.
